Salmo continues expansion in North America
Polish lure manufacturer, Salmo, has continued its North American expansion with the appointment of a new sales agent.
The U.S. division of the business, has agreed a partnership with Slater Sales of Minnesota. It will assume all sales and service responsibilities in Minnesota, Nebraska, Iowa, Missouri, Kansas, Wisconsin, Texas and the Dakotas.
“After Salmo was acquired by the Fox International Group last year, it became clear that it was time to pursue a direct sales and marketing presence in the U.S.. With its long-standing history and high level of respect among our retailers, Slater Sales is a natural fit.” said Greg DeVries, Director of Sales and Marketing for Salmo North America.
“Crankbaits from Salmo are hugely popular in the upper Midwest, and we are excited to have Slater Sales join our efforts as we expand U.S. operations.”
Salmo, founded by Piotr Piskorski, is now in its 25th year, and continues to produce award-winning crankbaits at its facility in northern Poland.
“The Salmo brand is synonymous with the finest hand-made quality, and the ability to produce impressive results across many species,” said Mark Slater of Slater Sales. “We are excited to represent Salmo. It brings innovation to the fishing lure market that all anglers can count on to catch more fish. We are thrilled to be associated with the brand going forward.”
